CGT Leads Charge for Government Transparency

Cobb Citizens for Governmental Transparency (CGT), a group of organizations representing a diverse cross-section of Cobb residents, recently held a public roundtable to make Cobb citizens aware of the many concerns surrounding the stealth process used to hasten the Braves Stadium move to Cobb County.

CGT will host the first in a series of Citizens’ Town Hall meetings to give Cobb County taxpayers a forum to express their concerns regarding the proposed Atlanta Braves move to Cobb County, financed by over $300 million taxpayer dollars and agreed to by the Cobb Board of Commissioners through a very rushed November vote on a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Braves organization.

More disclosures of new evidence regarding the Braves move is anticipated as the number of extremely engaged citizen journalists is expanding daily. Find breaking news on this topic at www.DecidingTheVote.com. Twitter: @decidingthevote
